I am a twenty-something graduate student at UCLA. I’ll soon be graduating with a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology, and moving to an undecided location with Dan! However before I join the “real world” with a “real job”, I’ll be packing up my backpack and going rogue for a while in South America. After 9 years of non-stop studying and schooling, I need some time to relax and recover!
I love to travel and have been fortunate to travel to many places in my life. One of my favourite parts of traveling to new countries is eating the local food, be it five star restaurants in Europe, empanada shops in Chile, or beachside shacks in Barbados. Luckily for myself, and my friends and family, I also love to cook, especially when it involves re-creating the exotic foods from my travels. Please explore my blog and enjoy the stories, the photos, and the recipes. I hope it will inspire you as much as it does me.

Hi Rach! I also love to eat my way around the world! I’m in Vietnam right now and am SO BADLY struggling not to gain weight–the food here is extra good. Between the tapioca smothered in coconut cream, pho noodle soup, various rice dishes, Vietnamese-crepes, candies, and sweetened condensed milk coffee I’m wondering why this isn’t a nation of obese people! Must be all the rice farming.. xo
Thanks for the comment Anna! That food sounds delicious- I’ll have to venture to Asia next and find their secret to staying so slim with all those amazing eats! xx
YAY
